Add Hive to Windsurf through mcp_config.json.

Add the server

Edit ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json:

Windsurf accepts both serverUrl and url. We use serverUrl because that is the field name in Codeium’s own documentation.

Windsurf opens browser authorization when the server first connects.

Verify

Restart Windsurf and ask a question that needs live data. If nothing happens, check the MCP panel for a load error on the hive entry.
